3. Height of Handrail:

I. Horizontal Work

1. Where there is suffi又歌cient room...

(1) Space out stanchions and lay rail也術 tubes alongside where handrail is to b唱站e erected.

(2) Pull stanchion onto pipe愛頻 from either end to oppo上紙site where they are to be 間靜fixed.

(3) Stand up system and temporarily bo分我lt both end stanchions for safe聽現ty.

(4) Position and bolt inter我鄉mediate stanchions. Pack either side 數費of base plate with shims to ali這小gn system if necessary.

2. Where there is insuff也銀icient room ...

(1) Fix the end stanchion訊友 securely in position, then feed both 了但handrail and kneerail into st放鐵anchion while supporting other費子

end of pipe until other st下跳anchions can be placed.

(2) Place a brick or similar su快窗pport under base plate until nex stanch輛黃ion is fed onto pipe.

(3) Move brick to this stanchion 站些and proceed to pull previous stanchio些謝n along pipe to its fin用美al position.

(4) Bole loosely and repea舊近t operation as previou靜會s sequence.

II. Stairway Work

(1) Start at bottom of first fl草間ight and work up for 算能SAFETY.

(2) Bolt bottom stanchion securely 匠體in position, then the second sta現雪nchion loosely in position.

(3) Feed the pipe down through 體去No. 2 stanchion and just enter No. 1 森知halfway. Allow free end t就醫o hang.

(4) Feed mid rail through木坐 No. 2 stanchion and right thro近如ugh No. 1 approx. 75mm.

(5) Fit and securely fix angle closure可中r bend, either by slip joint and taperp和校in or tack welding.

(6) Feed and fix additional stanchi花那on and tighten.
